CURRENT AFFAIRS In “Currency,” California artists Barbara McCarren and Jud Fine exhibit large-scale artworks based on paper money from all over the world. “Tattoo: Iraq Coalition,” which is seen below, combines images from the notes of Iraq and the 31 countries in the “coalition of the willing.” In other works, life-sized banknotes are copied and arranged to look like textiles or mandalas.
