PRESS RELEASE: September 6, 1985
OTHERLAND
SEPTEMBER 21 – OCTOBER 26
GALLERY HOURS: TUES-SAT 10-6
OTHERLAND is a group exhibition of works by six painters and one photographer. It is not a theme exhibition, nor is OTHERLAND meant to be and identifiable place.
Each artist’s work represents a distinct style and different concern. They do not know one another, nor do they live near one another. Some have shown in New York; some have not. Their backgrounds are diverse and so, we suspect, will be their futures. We believe this is an exciting exhibition and invite you to come and see for yourself.
The public is invited to the opening on Saturday, September 21st. A reception for the artists will be held from 5 to 7 PM on that evening. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM; Mondays by appointment only.
