FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 17, 1976 ARAKAWA Paintings October 2 –November 6, 1976 The exhibition consists of six paintings, acrylic on canvas, all from the series "The Signified or If." The largest work contains four panels, each measuring 10 feet by 6 feet. These paintings continue the exploration of "The Mechanism of Meaning." The exhibition coincides with an exhibition "Drawings and Prints" at Multiples, Inc., 55 East 80th Street. Gallery hours: Monday - Saturday 10:00-5:30.
