The artists live and work on the West Coast. The interviewer, Gerry Rosen, is a lawyer, and the camera man/editor, Andy Eason, is a film maker. The tapes are edited as essays of 20 to 30 minutes in length.
The artists interviewed are Larry Bell, Greg Card, Guy de Cointet, Ron Cooper, Guy Dill, Laddie John Dill, Boyd Elder, Fred Eversley, Jud Fine, Ethel Fisher, Jim Ganzer, Scott Grieger, Lloyd Hamrol, Newton & Helen Harrison, George Herms, Channa Horowitz, Robert Irwin, Craig Kauffman, Gloria Kisch, Jane Logemann, Charles Mattox, Eric Orr, Terry O'Shea, Bettye Saar, Eugene Sturman, Dewaine Valentine, Tom Wudl.
